Privacy policy

The short version
This page explains what personal data the AI-Driven Project Management Revolution (AIPM) collects, why we collect it, who helps us handle it, and what you can do about it. Two companies are responsible together for AIPM data: Macrosolutions Ltda. in Brazil and Projects & Company SRL (Projects & Co) in Belgium, the companies of Ricardo Vargas and Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez, who lead AIPM. Ricardo Vargas’s own mailing list, which every subscriber also joins, is the responsibility of Macrosolutions Ltda. alone. Here is the summary. The details follow below.
- This website sets no cookies of its own. We count visits with Umami, a statistics tool that works without cookies.
- If you subscribe or ask for a free resource, we use your name and email address to send you emails. You join two lists that we keep identical: the AI-Driven Project Management Revolution list, from the initiative led by Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez and Ricardo Vargas, which sends AIPM news from [email protected]; and Ricardo Vargas’s own list, which sends Beyond Hype, his monthly newsletter, and news about his courses and events from [email protected].
- People who join Ricardo Vargas’s own list, his students and his business contacts are added to both lists too.
- Our newsletters and free-resource emails tell us when they are opened. We use this to see what people read and to stop writing to people who no longer read us.
- Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. Leaving one list takes you off the other, usually within a few minutes.
- We sell courses and the certification through Teachable, which handles your payment under its own privacy policy.
- Our mailing system runs on our own server at Amazon Web Services in the United States. Most of the companies that help us are also in the United States.
- We do not sell your personal data.
- You can see, correct and delete your data, and you can complain to a data protection authority.
- You can object at any time, free of charge, to our marketing emails and to the measurement of email opens, by unsubscribing or by writing to us.
- For any question, or to use your rights, write to [email protected].
Who we are and how to contact us
AIPM is an initiative led by Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez and Ricardo Vargas. AIPM is a name, not a company. Two companies decide together why and how your personal data is used for AIPM. Data protection law calls them “joint controllers”:
- Macrosolutions Ltda., the company of Ricardo Vargas. Rua Santa Rita Durão, 699, Savassi, Belo Horizonte, MG, 30140-111, Brazil. CNPJ 03.069.732/0001-26.
- Projects & Company SRL (Projects & Co), the company of Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez. Chaussée d’Ixelles 148, 1050 Ixelles, Belgium. Enterprise number 0762.873.227.
In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean these two companies. Where this policy talks about Ricardo Vargas’s own list, “we” means Macrosolutions Ltda. alone.
The two companies are setting out their responsibilities in a written joint-controller arrangement, which is being finalized. Today the work is shared like this. Macrosolutions Ltda. runs this website, our sign-up and application forms, our mailing system and the server where the data is kept. It also keeps this policy up to date, answers requests to use your rights and handles any data breach. Projects & Co takes part in deciding why and how AIPM data is used. [email protected] is the contact point for both companies, but you can also contact either company directly, and you can use your rights with and against each of them, whatever the arrangement says. We will update this section when the arrangement is signed.
Ricardo Vargas’s own list (see “One sign-up, two lists”) is the responsibility of Macrosolutions Ltda. alone.
For anything about your personal data, write to [email protected]. This address answers for both companies.
This policy covers:
- www.pmairevolution.com (pmairevolution.com shows the same site);
- our sign-up and free-resource pages at get.pmairevolution.com;
- our certificate pages at cert.pmairevolution.com;
- the unsubscribe pages of our mailing system, at email.ricardo-vargas.com;
- the emails we send;
- what we do with the data we receive from our course school at learn.pmairevolution.com.
Teachable runs that school and its checkout, and it also uses your data for its own purposes under its own privacy policy. This policy does not cover other websites we link to.
When you visit this website
This website is made of static pages hosted by Cloudflare. When you open a page, two services receive data about your visit.
Cloudflare receives what every website receives: your IP address, your browser and device type, the page you asked for and the page you came from. It uses them to deliver the page and to protect the site from attacks and abuse. Cloudflare also asks your browser to report failed connections to it, so network problems can be found.
Umami, our statistics tool, receives the address of the page (including anything after a ”?” in it), the page title, the website that sent you, your screen size and your browser language. When you click certain buttons, such as Subscribe, Umami also records the name of the button. It never receives your name or email address. Umami does not use cookies. From your IP address and browser details it works out your approximate location (country, region and city) and your browser, operating system and device type. It also turns them into a code that changes every month, so it can recognize repeat visits within the month without storing your IP address in its statistics. You can stop Umami with a content blocker or tracker blocker in your browser.
Every page also loads a small Cloudflare script that hides our email address from spam robots. It does not collect anything about you.
The Resources page shows preview images of our videos, which load from YouTube (Google) as soon as the page opens. Google sees your IP address and browser details. If your browser allows it, it also sends Google any YouTube or Google cookies it already holds. A video player loads from YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com) only when you click play.
Some buttons take you to other companies’ sites, where their own privacy policies apply. The webinar registration button on the Resources page goes to Zoom, the Venture Lab button goes to Google Forms, and the buy buttons go to our school on Teachable. Our free-resource pages at get.pmairevolution.com load no scripts from other companies.
When you subscribe to our emails
Our Subscribe page (www.pmairevolution.com/subscribe/) asks for your name and email address. Both are required.
When you press Subscribe, your name and email address go to our sign-up service at get.pmairevolution.com, which runs on our own server. It adds you to both of our mailing lists straight away and labels your record so we know you joined through this page. We do not send a confirmation or welcome email.
- If you were already on our lists, we keep the name and labels we had. If we had stopped writing to you because you had not opened our emails, we start again.
- If you had unsubscribed before, we treat the new sign-up as a request to receive our emails again.
- The sign-up service uses your IP address to block repeated automated sign-ups. It keeps the address only in its working memory, never writes it to disk or to its logs, and loses it when the service restarts.
- The service writes one line to its log with a masked version of your address (for example j***@example.com) and whether you were new, already subscribed or returning.
The form also has a hidden field that people never see. Only automated spam programs fill it in, and it helps us ignore them.
One sign-up, two lists
Our mailing system holds two lists with the same people on them.
- The AI-Driven Project Management Revolution list, from the initiative led by Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez and Ricardo Vargas. These emails come from [email protected] and carry AIPM news, such as new Masterclass cohorts, the certification, research and free tools. They have no fixed schedule.
- Ricardo Vargas’s own list. These emails come from [email protected] and carry Beyond Hype, his monthly newsletter, and news about his courses and events.
We keep the two lists identical on purpose. Both companies are responsible for the AIPM list; Macrosolutions Ltda. alone is responsible for Ricardo Vargas’s own list.
We add people to both lists:
- when they sign up on this website or ask for one of our free resources;
- when they join Ricardo Vargas’s list in other ways, for example through the sign-up forms on ricardo-vargas.com or his free resources at get.ricardo-vargas.com;
- when they enroll in a course on Ricardo Vargas’s own online school. A label then shows which course they enrolled in;
- when Ricardo Vargas records them as a business contact in his customer database (CRM). This route skips people who have unsubscribed.
Leaving works like this:
- When you unsubscribe from either list, our sign-up service takes you off the other one too, usually within a few minutes. A check of both lists that we run every week catches anything it misses.
- You cannot currently stay on one list and leave the other.
- The route that adds new students from Ricardo Vargas’s school does not yet check whether you unsubscribed before. If you unsubscribed and later enroll in one of his courses, it can put you back on both lists. If that happens, unsubscribe again or write to us.
When you ask for a free resource
We send some resources by email, such as the AIPM Practitioner Toolkit and our research reports. You request them on pages at get.pmairevolution.com, which our website links to.
- We ask for your name and email address. Both are required.
- Requesting a resource adds you to both mailing lists described above, with a label that shows which resource you asked for. The request page and the email that delivers the resource both tell you this. You can unsubscribe at any time, including right after you receive it: the link in that email takes you off the AIPM list, and leaving it takes you off both.
- If you had unsubscribed before, asking for a resource puts you back on both lists.
- We email you the download link from [email protected]. The link is the same for everyone. It does not identify you, and we do not record who downloads the file.
- As on the Subscribe page, our sign-up service uses your IP address to block automated abuse. It keeps the address only in its working memory and does not write it to its logs. The log keeps only a masked version of your email address and the resource you requested.
What we measure in our emails
Our newsletters and the other emails from our mailing system, and the email that delivers a free resource, contain a tiny invisible image. When your email app loads it, Amazon’s sending service records that the email was opened, when, and the IP address and email-app details of the device that opened it. Amazon passes these records to our mailing system, which keeps them and, for our regular emails, links each open to your subscriber record.
We use this information to:
- see which emails people read;
- find people who have not opened our emails for a long time. We label them as inactive, stop sending them our regular emails, and may send them one email asking whether they want to stay;
- protect our sending reputation, so our emails do not end up in spam folders.
We also record when an email to you bounces, is rejected or is marked as spam. If an email from our mailing system, or a free-resource delivery, bounces permanently, or you mark one of them as spam, Amazon’s sending service blocks further emails of those kinds to your address.
Until 22 October 2026 we also recorded which links people clicked in our emails. We no longer record clicks. The click records made before that date are still in our mailing system and its backups.
The emails that send your exam voucher or your certificate do not track opens or clicks.
If you do not want us to know when you open our emails, turn off automatic image loading in your email app, or unsubscribe.
When you apply to be an AIPM Ambassador
Our Ambassadors application form (www.pmairevolution.com/ambassadors/2027-application/) asks for your full name, email address, city (and, if you like, your state or province), country and LinkedIn profile. It also asks whether you were an AIPM Ambassador in 2026, the areas where you want to contribute, the hours you can give each month, and for a personal statement. Fields marked * are required. Before you send, you confirm that we may store your answers to review your application.
Your answers go straight from your browser to a Google Form that we control. Google stores them in the form and in a linked Google Sheet. The AIPM team, led by Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez and Ricardo Vargas, reviews the applications. We use your answers to choose the 2027 ambassadors and to email you about your application.
If the form cannot reach Google, it asks you to try again or to email your answers to [email protected].
Webinars, enquiries and emails to us
Webinars. The webinar registration button on our Resources page takes you to a registration page on Zoom. Zoom collects the details its form asks for, under Zoom’s own privacy policy, and makes them available to the webinar host. We use them to run the webinar. We publish recordings of past webinars on YouTube. If you prefer not to appear, keep your camera off and use a display name of your choice.
Venture Lab. The button on our Venture Lab page opens a form on Google Forms. The form asks for your email address and for details about your idea, your team’s experience and the investment or budget involved. We receive your answers through Google and use them to reply to your enquiry.
Dubai Masterclass. The Dubai Masterclass was canceled in September 2026. If you filled in its interest form, your answers are in a Google Form that we control. We no longer use them. Write to [email protected] if you want them deleted.
Emails to us. If you write to [email protected], we receive your email address and whatever you write. Google (Google Workspace) hosts this mailbox. We use your message to answer you.
Courses, certification and payments
We sell the Masterclass, the certification, bundles and recordings through Teachable, at learn.pmairevolution.com. Teachable runs the checkout and your student account. It collects your name, email address and payment details, and it takes payment through providers such as Stripe and PayPal. For its own purposes, Teachable uses this data under its own privacy policy.
As the owner of the school, we receive from Teachable the details of each sale and enrollment, such as your name, your email address, what you bought and your progress in our courses. We use them to give you access, to support you and to keep our accounts. When you enroll in the certification or the Masterclass, Zapier can also send you a welcome email from our Google mailbox.
Teachable’s pages, including our school, load analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel. Teachable’s privacy policy explains these tools.
If you buy the certification:
- An automation service (Zapier) copies each sale into a Google Sheet that we use to manage exam vouchers.
- We email your exam voucher from [email protected] through Amazon’s sending service. This email does not track opens or clicks. Ricardo Vargas and one member of his team receive a copy, so they can help if something goes wrong.
- We keep a list of the names, email addresses and voucher codes we sent, and a log of each sending.
- You then register for the exam yourself on the candidate portal of APMG International, the exam body. APMG, its online proctoring service (which records your screen, webcam and audio during the exam) and Credly (which issues the digital badge) handle your data under their own privacy policies.
Live Masterclass sessions and recordings
The live Masterclass sessions take place on Zoom. We ask participants to join with a camera and microphone, so they can take part in the discussions.
We record the sessions. Participants can watch the recordings until the date shown on the Masterclass page, and we also sell the recordings of past cohorts through our school. If your camera or microphone is on, or you write in the chat, you may appear in a recording that other participants and later buyers can watch.
If you prefer not to appear, keep your camera off and use a display name of your choice. If you appear in a recording and want to be removed, write to [email protected].
Certificates of completion
Masterclass participants who attend all sessions receive a certificate of completion and a digital badge. The certificate shows your name, the program and the dates. For in-company groups, it also shows your employer’s name.
We issue these certificates from our own certificate system, which runs on our server at Amazon Web Services. We email you a link to your certificate’s page through Amazon’s sending service. This email does not track opens or clicks.
Each certificate has a page at cert.pmairevolution.com. Anyone who has the code printed on the certificate, or who scans its QR code, can open that page and see your name, the program, the dates and whether the certificate is still valid. From the page you can download your certificate and badge and share them, for example on LinkedIn. If you prefer, write to [email protected] and we will hide your page.
Older certificates were issued through Accredible, and their pages were hosted on Accredible’s site (credential.net), under Accredible’s own privacy policy.
People shown on our website
Our website shows profiles of AIPM Ambassadors with their name, photo, country, region, role, areas of work, LinkedIn link and a pin on a map at city level. It also shows the names and photos of some students and speakers. We show them because they take part in AIPM.
If you appear on the site and want something changed or removed, write to [email protected] and we will do it.
Data we receive from others
Most of the data in this policy comes from you. We also receive personal data from these sources:
- Teachable, when you buy from us or enroll in our school: your name, email address, what you bought and your progress in our courses.
- Ricardo Vargas’s own mailing list and sign-up forms: the name, email address and labels of people who joined his list. We copy them into the AIPM list (see “One sign-up, two lists”).
- Ricardo Vargas’s online school: the name, email address and course of people who enroll in his courses (see “One sign-up, two lists”).
- Ricardo Vargas’s customer database (CRM): the name and email address of his business contacts, which it adds to both lists.
- Zoom, when you register for one of our webinars: the details you give in its registration form, which Zoom makes available to the host.
The rest of this policy explains how we use each of these.
Why we use your data, and on what legal basis
Data protection law asks us to give a legal reason, called a “legal basis”, for each use of your data. These are ours.
Your consent, for:
- adding you to our mailing lists and sending you our emails when you sign up on this website or ask for a free resource;
- your Ambassadors application.
You can withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing does not affect what we did before.
Doing what you asked us to do, or carrying out a contract with you, for:
- sending you the free resource you asked for;
- giving you access, support and your exam voucher after you buy from us, including the copy of the voucher email that our team receives;
- running the live Masterclass sessions;
- issuing your certificate of completion and keeping its verification page;
- registering you for the webinars you sign up for and running them.
A legal obligation, for keeping sales and tax records and for answering lawful requests from authorities.
Our legitimate interests, for the uses below. A legitimate interest is a reason that benefits us or others. We may rely on it only after checking that it does not override your rights and interests.
- delivering this website and protecting it from attacks;
- counting visits and button clicks without cookies, to learn which pages are useful;
- showing video previews on the Resources page;
- measuring email opens, bounces and spam reports, so we can stop writing to people who no longer read us and keep our emails out of spam folders;
- sorting subscribers into groups with labels, to choose who receives which email;
- keeping a record of people who unsubscribed or whose address bounced, so we do not email them again by mistake;
- backing up our mailing lists and other records, so we can recover from a failure or a mistake;
- answering your emails and enquiries, including Venture Lab enquiries;
- recording the live Masterclass sessions so participants can watch them again, and offering the recordings of past cohorts;
- showing AIPM Ambassadors, students and speakers on our website.
For people who joined Ricardo Vargas’s own list, we rely on the consent they gave there to receive news and offers from him, AIPM being the initiative he leads with Antonio Nieto-Rodriguez. For his students and business contacts, we rely on our legitimate interest in telling them about similar courses and events. Every email lets you unsubscribe.
Do you have to give us your data?
No. But some things cannot work without it. We need your email address to add you to our lists or to send you a resource, and we ask for your name so that we know who you are and may use it to address you in our emails. We need the required fields of the Ambassadors form to consider your application, and your purchase details to give you what you bought. Any website needs your IP address to send you its pages. If you choose not to give us this data, the only consequence is that we cannot provide that particular service.
Profiling and automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you by automated means that have legal or similarly significant effects.
We do sort subscribers into groups using labels, such as how they joined, which resource they asked for, which courses they enrolled in, whether they came to us as a client or a CRM contact, and whether they have opened our recent emails. We use these groups to choose who receives which email. People labeled as inactive stop receiving our regular emails.
You can object to this sorting at any time by unsubscribing or by writing to [email protected], and we will stop.
Who receives your data
We do not sell your personal data. The two companies share AIPM data with each other as needed for the purposes in this policy. We also share it with the service providers below, who handle it on our instructions, and with the independent companies listed after them.
Service providers that work for us:
- Amazon Web Services (United States). Our own server in Ohio runs our sign-up service, our mailing software, our certificate system and our automation tool. Amazon’s email service in Virginia sends our emails and reports opens, bounces and spam complaints.
- Cloudflare (United States, with a worldwide network). It hosts this website, runs our domain names, and sits in front of our sign-up service, our certificate pages and our mailing system to deliver and protect them. The details you type into our forms pass through Cloudflare on their way to our server.
- Umami Software (United States, with some of its own providers in the EU). Website statistics.
- Google (United States and other countries). Our [email protected] mailbox, Google Forms and Google Sheets.
- Zoom (United States). Our live Masterclass sessions, and webinar registration and hosting.
- Zapier (United States). It copies sale records from Teachable into our voucher sheet, passes new students of Ricardo Vargas’s school to our mailing lists, and can send welcome emails from our Google mailbox.
- Dropbox (United States). Backup copies of our mailing lists and certificate records, and our working files. Our Dropbox files are also synced to Ricardo Vargas’s computer.
- GitHub (United States). Private weekly backups of our mailing lists (names, email addresses, labels and unsubscribe records, but no open data) and of our certificate records.
- Anthropic (United States). We use its AI assistant, Claude, to help us run our mailing lists and send exam vouchers, so names, email addresses and voucher codes can pass through it.
- Accredible, which issued our older certificates and hosted their pages.
Our mailing software (Mailcoach) and our automation tool (n8n) are programs we run ourselves on our own server. The companies that make them do not receive your data.
Inside our team, only Ricardo Vargas and named members of his team can sign in to the mailing system, and they must pass an extra identity check first.
Independent companies that decide for themselves how they use data, under their own privacy policies:
- Teachable (part of the Hotmart group), which runs our course school and checkout, with payment providers such as Stripe and PayPal;
- Google (YouTube), when you open the Resources page or play a video;
- APMG International, its proctoring service and Credly, for the certification exam and badge.
We may also share data with our professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, when they need it for their work. We disclose data when the law requires it.
Transfers to other countries
Most of the providers above are in the United States, and so is our own server. Some of them, such as Cloudflare and Google, also handle data in other countries where they operate. Running our mailing system on our own server does not keep your data in Europe.
When personal data goes from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom to the United States:
- For providers certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (and its UK Extension), such as Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare, the transfer relies on the European Commission’s adequacy decision of 10 July 2023 and, for UK data, on the UK’s adequacy regulations for the UK Extension, in force since 12 October 2023. Both found that certified US companies give personal data an adequate level of protection. Their contracts also include the Standard Contractual Clauses described below, which apply if those decisions stop applying.
- For providers that are not certified, such as Umami, the transfer relies on the Standard Contractual Clauses (Commission Decision (EU) 2021/914) and, for UK data, the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. These are model contract terms, approved by the European Commission (and, for the UK addendum, issued by the UK Information Commissioner), that oblige the provider to protect your data.
- For our other providers in the United States, the transfer relies on the Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, and otherwise on the Standard Contractual Clauses in its data protection terms.
When data goes from the European Union to Macrosolutions Ltda. in Brazil, the transfer relies on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for Brazil (Implementing Decision (EU) 2026/179 of 26 January 2026). Projects & Co is in Belgium, inside the European Union.
You can read these safeguards in each provider’s data protection terms, or ask us for a copy at [email protected].
How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. In practice:
- Mailing lists: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete you. People we label as inactive stay on the lists, with that label, until they unsubscribe or we remove them.
- After you unsubscribe: we keep your email address with an “unsubscribed” status, so that our list checks and Ricardo Vargas’s customer database do not add you back. If you later sign up again yourself, we treat it as a new request. The route that adds new students from Ricardo Vargas’s school does not check this status yet (see “One sign-up, two lists”). Addresses that bounced permanently or reported us as spam stay on a block list in our mailing system and at Amazon, for the same reason.
- If you ask us to erase your data: we delete your record from our mailing system and keep only your email address on a do-not-contact list, which our weekly list check uses so that it does not add you back. Your data stays in our backups until those copies are deleted, as described below.
- Open, bounce and spam-report records, the raw records Amazon sends us about each email, and the click records made before 22 October 2026: we keep them with your subscriber record in our mailing system.
- Backups: our server keeps a daily copy of its disk for 7 days and a daily copy of the mailing database for 7 days. A full copy of the mailing database, with open and click records, also goes to Dropbox every day and is kept for 14 days, and the copy from the first day of each month is kept for 6 months. Every Sunday a smaller copy (people, lists, labels and unsubscribe records, without open data) goes to a private GitHub repository, which keeps every earlier version. Before our weekly list check changes anything, it saves a snapshot of both lists to Dropbox. Today the GitHub history and these snapshots have no end date. Dropbox can restore deleted files for a limited time set by our plan, and our Dropbox files are synced to Ricardo Vargas’s computer. Until a copy is deleted, it still contains the data of people we have removed from our lists. We use backups only to recover from a failure or a mistake.
- Working files: we sometimes export lists to files in our Dropbox to analyze them, for example the people who asked for a resource. We delete them when we no longer need them for that analysis.
- Sign-up service: your IP address stays only in the service’s working memory and is lost when the service restarts. The log lines with your masked email address disappear when the service is updated or its logs are rotated.
- Website statistics in Umami: for the period set by our Umami plan. Cloudflare keeps its technical logs under its own rules.
- Ambassadors applications: for as long as we need them to run the 2027 selection and the program.
- Certificates of completion: for as long as the certificate exists, so that it can be verified. You can ask us to hide your page at any time.
- Venture Lab enquiries, webinar registrations and emails to [email protected]: for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep track of our conversations with you.
- Dubai Masterclass interest form: see “Webinars, enquiries and emails to us”.
- Sale and voucher records: for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
- Teachable keeps your purchase and student data under its own policy.
Your rights
You have these rights over your personal data:
- to see the data we hold about you and get a copy;
- to correct data that is wrong or incomplete;
- to have your data deleted;
- to limit how we use it while a question about it is being settled;
- to object to any use based on our legitimate interests;
- to receive the data you gave us in a common electronic format, or have it sent to another company;
- to withdraw your consent at any time.
You can object to our marketing emails at any time, free of charge, and we will stop. Use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email (it opens a page on email.ricardo-vargas.com, where our mailing system runs) or write to [email protected].
To use any other right, write to [email protected]. We answer within one month. If a request is complex we may need up to two more months, and we will tell you why within the first month. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we share or delete anything. Using your rights is free.
How to complain
If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, please tell us first at [email protected]. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days and keep you informed.
You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.
- European Union: any data protection authority, in particular in the country where you live, where you work, or where you think the problem happened. For Projects & Co, which is established in Belgium, the lead authority is Belgium’s Data Protection Authority (Autorité de protection des données / Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Rue de la Presse 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be. It accepts complaints in French, Dutch or German.
- United Kingdom: the UK data protection regulator (ICO), ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
- Brazil: the Agência Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD), through this gov.br service. The ANPD asks you to contact us first.
- Anywhere else: your local data protection authority.
Cookies and similar technologies
This website does not set cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser, which is why it shows no consent banner. Our statistics tool still runs a small script in your browser, as described below.
- Umami, our statistics tool, does not use cookies. Its script sends the page details described in “When you visit this website”. A content blocker or tracker blocker will stop it. This website does not change its behavior when your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal.
- Cloudflare may set a cookie that the site needs for security, to tell people apart from automated bots. It is not used to track you.
- The Resources page loads video preview images from YouTube as soon as it opens, and your browser may send YouTube cookies it already holds with those requests. A YouTube player, which may store cookies or similar data on your device, loads only after you click a video.
- Our course school at learn.pmairevolution.com runs on Teachable. When you visit it, Teachable and the tools on its pages may set cookies for the whole pmairevolution.com domain, so your browser also sends them when you visit this website. These cookies can include advertising and analytics identifiers and, if you are signed in to the school, your email address. Cloudflare receives them with each request. This website and our sign-up service do not read them. Teachable’s own policy explains them.
- On 29 July 2026, for about two and a half hours, an earlier version of our Toolkit page set a cookie called aipm_toolkit_known. It only remembered that you had already asked for the Toolkit. We no longer use it, and you can delete it in your browser settings.
- Our emails contain an invisible image that tells us when they are opened. See “What we measure in our emails”.
Children
Our website, emails and programs are for professionals. They are not meant for children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you think a child has given us their data, write to [email protected] and we will delete it.
How we protect your data
Our website and sign-up service use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Our server’s disk is encrypted. Only named people can sign in to our mailing system, and they must pass an extra identity check first. Our sign-up service keeps your IP address only in its working memory, and its logs show only a masked version of your email address.
No system is perfectly secure. If a breach could affect your data, we will report it to the competent data protection authorities as the law requires, and we will tell you directly if it is likely to put you at high risk.
If you live in the UK, Brazil or the United States
United Kingdom. UK data protection law gives you the rights described above. You can complain to us first, and then to the ICO.
Brazil. Macrosolutions Ltda. is a Brazilian company, so Brazil’s data protection law (LGPD) applies to how it handles your data. The LGPD gives you similar rights. They include the right to know which public and private organizations we share your data with (see “Who receives your data”), the right to know that you may refuse consent and what happens if you do (see “Do you have to give us your data?”), and the right to petition the ANPD. If you ask under the LGPD whether we hold your data, or for a copy of it, we answer in full within 15 days. The data of people in Brazil also goes to the providers in the United States listed in “Who receives your data”. Write to [email protected], in Portuguese if you prefer, to use your rights or for any question about the LGPD.
United States and California. We do not sell your personal data. This website does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Umami does not follow you across other websites, but other companies may collect data about your activity across websites over time when you use their services, for example YouTube after you play a video, or the tools on Teachable’s pages. You can review and correct the data we hold about you by writing to us. When we change this policy in a material way, we post the new version here with a new date and tell subscribers by email.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when our practices change and show the date of the latest change at the top. If a change affects how we use your data, for example a new purpose, we will tell subscribers by email before it applies. We keep earlier versions of this policy and can send them to you on request.
